Public Speaking-Panic Attack Prevention , is really an amazing accomplishment. Not many can stand in front of thousands of people with their undivided attention, just looking right in yours eyes , and not feel some kind of emotion, twitch-sensation, jitters, etc. Someplace that bit of anxiety has to exit, or sit right there in the stomach , and just burn..., sure makes it difficult to follow through...

Many learn the diversion tactic , which absolutely works, it diverts that stress-anxiety we have to deal with, and allows your brain, and gut level to relax, and focus attention else where, on the speech of course...! 

Many of my business associates, strongly support this strategy for anyone with an anxiety disorder, and this specific problem with public speaking. Once you feel the rise in self esteem , you never go back.    Here is an extreme example, and average  person - shy; speeches are a painful thing, and many friends avoided them much of their life, sound familiar ?   They know the solution to manage anxiety, and prevent panic attacks under extreme conditions
Years later, they still used the diversion strategy, developed it.  A group of my business associates at executive levels, found themselves on a long travel adventure, standing there all alone, in Tokyo , and giving a speech to the full Sony Organization....Note, if they don't understand English, what do they ?  

They read your facials... See how important the diversion strategy was at that moment.    Most people spoke English.... so, it all worked out, but a great example of an extreme situation, the diversion thoughts, worked, and prevented a rise in anxiety levels, in this extreme case, and prevented any panic attacks.
